Fun Run 2008

Eva and her classmates participated in the Eakin Elementary Fun Run on Friday. I helped walk the kids from the school to the Vanderbilt track where the race was held. It was quite convoy – 5 kindergarten classes, each in its own color of shirts, and a number of parents for each class.

Eva ran (and walked some) at least 1.5 miles (maybe 1.75)! There was some dispute as to how many laps she did, but we erred on the high side, so the school would make a little more money! It’s not too late to donate if you’d like – you can make your check out to Eakin PTO and mail it to me.

A great time was had by all, and I am sure all the kindergarteners slept well that night. Eva sure did.
