Only in Music City . . . a girl and her guitar
Shortly after Christmas, Eva had some money burning a hole in her pocket. We had already had a shopping spree at Toys R Us with other Christmas money, so when we headed to Target, I thought I knew what she was likely to pick; however, she surprised me by choosing a guitar – the beautiful cobalt blue number in the photo. The plastic silver trim “makes” it! We had gone through a purging binge before Christmas to make way for new things, and about the guitar she said, “I am not going to give this away, not even when I go to college.” That says it all in terms of how much the guitar means to her. Of course, she doesn’t really know how to play, but she sure has fun trying.
